SERGE LABÉGORRE

Serge Labégorre was born in Talence (Gironde) in 1932. Despite a prolonged illness that confined him to immobility, Labégorre turned it into a strength: painting became his mode of expression, and he dedicated his life to it. A pivotal moment in his artistic journey occurred during his time at Libourne College, where he encountered his "genius" drawing teacher, Henri Charnay, providing him with a second opportunity in his life as an artist.
