New Phase of the Gallery Starting March 11, 2025
Art Engagement Consulting, under the direction of Micaela Neveu, takes over the Galerie Schwab Beaubourg, marking a new phase of reflection and experimentation. The inauguration will take place on Friday, March 21, 2025, at 35 Rue Quincampoix, 75004 Paris. The gallery is committed to a radical conceptual approach and a critical examination of contemporary issues in art. This new phase of the gallery is part of a dynamic of innovation, aimed at enriching the dialogue around artistic creation and current cultural sector issues.
Micaela Neveu, a doctor in contemporary art history and museology, is a recognized expert for her academic and practical expertise in the fields of art and museology. In addition to her research and publication work, including her upcoming book Le code précolombien, messager des dieux, she has been an influential voice at international conferences and is dedicated to advancing the understanding of pre-Columbian cultures. Through her think tank Contextualités, Micaela promotes the exchange of ideas on issues related to the art market, curating, and new technologies. Passionate about promoting new artists, she supports an inclusive and innovative approach to enriching contemporary creation.
Founded by Thierry and Edouard Schwab, Galerie Schwab Beaubourg opened its doors just a stone's throw away from the Centre Pompidou in Paris in 2011. It is a place that aims to be eclectic and open; a space for conviviality and exchange.
The gallery is located in the heart of the Marais, at 35 rue Quincampoix, and is organized on two levels. Spanning 170 m2, it offers expansive art exhibition spaces, showcasing the works of emerging and established artists, both French and international, with diverse artistic approaches (drawing, painting, sculpture, installation).
Strong in its pedagogy (producing numerous explanatory materials: booklets, video documentaries...), the gallery is primarily figurative and within the neo-expressionist lineage but tends to include other movements. It also hosts various cultural events such as poetry evenings, book signings, etc.
Galerie Schwab Beaubourg is driven by a multidisciplinary team with an original and passionate perspective, where gallerists, collectors, and artists collaborate closely on the production of exhibitions conceived at the intersection of traditional gallery and museum formats.
