Fred Kleinberg
Born in 1966, Fred Kleinberg lives and works in Paris.
Trained at the Ecole Nationale Superieure des Beaux-Arts in Paris in the studio of Pierre Alechinsky, he exhibited his work as a painter since 1985 in Europe, the United States and Asia, in collaboration with various galleries. His work is presented in several public institutions.
Artist globetrotter, he has performed several artist residencies: at the Villa Medici in Rome in 1996 in collaboration with the novelist Kits Hilaire, at the Museum of Contemporary Art in Moscow in 2001, in India at Art Residence Pondicherry in 2004, in China in collaboration with Shanghai HongMerchant Gallery in 2010 and India at Shantiniketan University in 2018.
He is the winner of several painting awards: the Montrouge Salon Award in 1998, theCoprim Foundation Award in 2000, the Taylor Foundation Prize in 2008, the Charles Oulmont Foundation Prize in 2008, and the Monaco 1st Prize in Contemporary Art in 2014.
