Anton Solomoukha
Born in 1945 in Kiev, Anton Solomoukha is a French artist and photographer from Ukraine, foreign member of the Academy of Fine Arts of Ukraine. Since 1980, he worked as a painter in the field of narrative figuration . In 2000 , he developed photo projects. It is known as the inventor of a new genre in contemporary photography : the "painting photo", combining photographic images and pictorial research in its formal multi-scene figures. It is also an outstanding draftsman.
His works can be seen in many museums, including Kiev, Sarajevo, Moscow, New York, Chicago, Mons, etc. Solomouka died in Paris in 2016.
